If you are still expecting people at the door, here are some tips: For barcode tickets: you'll want to scan these tickets at the door. The easiest way to do this is to download the Ticketleap mobile app (available for iOS and Android). If you expect to have a sizeable line of people at the event, you might consider arming yourself with multiple scanning devices -- and people to operate them. Ticket holders can present their barcode from their phone or by printing it to paper. If someone shows up without their ticket: no biggie. You can check them in by name. To check people in by name, download the Ticketleap app on your iOS or Android device and go to "Check in Attendees." Sending an email to your event goers? Don't forget to let them know any details they might be wondering about, including transportation, check-in details, break schedules, and of course, if you are going to be serving food and drinks!
